LoudHoundMovement in The Span

Choreographed by Artistic Directors Mallory Lynn and Brendan Duggan, The Span captures the journey of every man through various physical and temporal landscapes. Inspired by surrealist photographic self-portraiture, LoudHoundMovement’s newest work explores the path between beginning and end, and the choices we make in between that define our varying perspectives. The work has been created in close collaboration with projection artist Carmen Osterlye, videographer Jake Saner, composers Hannah Epperson and Gabriel Medina, and seven performance artists.

LoudHoundMovement (LHM), a New York City-based contemporary dance collective, creates and performs the choreographic work of Co-Artistic Directors Brendan Duggan and Mallory Lynn.  Founded in 2012, LHM was created in response to rushed artistic processes, facilitating an emphasis on honest compositional investigation and research.
